Houses are becoming the preferred asset, with 39% of buyers now looking to purchase a house—steadily rising over the past six months. Queensland remains the top investment choice, attracting 34% of respondents, while Victoria surprisingly drew 20%, despite recent tax and fee increases.
Rental returns remain a key factor for investors, with most aiming for yields between 4.6% and 5.5%. Additionally, 79% of investors are prioritizing tenant retention over chasing higher returns, underscoring the importance of stable rental income.
